MIPRO was founded in November 1995 in Chiayi, Taiwan by founder K. C. Chang. Solomon Chang is the company president and leads MIPRO in developing and manufacturing wireless microphone and wireless PA systems. Our motto is “innovation, quality and satisfied users”.
At the beginning of 1996, MIPRO’s founder bought land in the Chaiyi, Taiwan urban area and started construction on a US$ multi-million, modern 5,000-square-meter production and office facility. Corporate headquarters in the new facility was completed and started running on 1st January 1997 and the Taipei showroom and office started operations in 1999. Since 2001, thanks to continued sales growth, the size of the headquarters was expanded twice to 13,000 square meters. In 2006 this expansion was completed to celebrate MIPRO’s tenth anniversary. Furthermore, adjacent land and buildings were purchased to anticipate future sales growth and expansion needs. Today, the total corporate headquarters covers an area of more than 14,000 square meters.
With 50 years of accumulated wireless microphone know-how and expertise, the founder has nurtured a team of seasoned R&D engineers. Together they have developed hundreds of wireless microphone systems. MIPRO is ISO-9001 certified and has implemented quality assurance and efficient computerized production management systems. Mass-produced products are marketed worldwide under the MIPRO brand. After nearly twenty years of steady growth, MIPRO has over 80 distribution partners worldwide and has regional sales & service offices in China, Hong-Kong, United States, Germany, Austria and Hungary. MIPRO’s president, Solomon Chang, won the “National Executive Manager Award” in 2012 and MIPRO received the prestigious “Rising Star Award” from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2013.
MIPRO’s decision to found the company in Taiwan and manufacture all products in Taiwan has increased employment opportunities for local Taiwanese to contribute to the country’s economy. This effort has been recognized and MIPRO received the “2014 Financial Times-Standard Chartered Taiwan Business Awards-Economic Contribution Award”.
